My 15 month old has got we are presuming HFMD from nursery as there is a confirmed case she’s very poorly with it constant temp of up to 40 degrees at times very hard to bring down even with calpol and nurofen she has been seen in hospital for the temp and to rule out UTI / sepsis ect they are happy enough it’s viral and advised to bring her back if she gets worse or any signs of sepsis ect. Anyway my question is I think I now see the start of the spots that will blister if it is HFMD , is there anything in particular anyone found good to apply to them to dry them out ? Or any other tips to get her through it ? She’s drinking and eating so far which is good and I’m going to make her ice pops in anticipation of her getting a sore mouth and maybe not wanting to eat.
