Hi! I really need some coparenting advice. I have two children with my ex, we broke up almost 5 years ago and both have moved on I am happy and expecting with my new partner. Since the break up he has made my life miserable, initially not wanting to see the kids regularly but now he does see them weekly however it’s his conditions. He will tell me a time that he will pick them up but always be late. He drops them home 10/11pm even though they have school the following day. He refused to pay for them anymore and when I ask for his contribution he questions why so I’ve now stopped asking him and have minimal contact. We only text to confirm days and time that he has them. He is a horrible human and tells the kids all types of stuff about me and my personal life and they then come home asking questions about things they shouldn’t know. On the very odd occasion we do speak he belittles me and calls me a bad parent. I’ve wanted to take him to court or take some legal action but the costs are crazy so I feel very backed up against a wall with no resolution where I can have a legal agreement in place so we leaves me alone. Has anyone been through this? Can they advise?
