My DS is 9 months old and we are going on holiday to France in about 7 weeks. He s a really good eater eating practically anything we put in front of him.

I want him to have a taste of the foods that we will be eating in France but am unsure about cheese. is it safe for him to eat cheeses such as Brie? What about Seafood? Prawns etc? Its all so confusing!!

At 9 months I wouldn't worry about any types of food other than nuts and honey (and obviously and major choking risks )

A friend of mine went to France when her DS (now 6) was 7 months and freaked when she realised all of the baby food had salt in it - this was until her husband calmly pointed out that the French babies seemed to be doing fine...

Have a lovely time.
