Dock leaves

Very adult question ha! Dock leaves work for nettles, do they work for anything else and how do they work?

They work as a mild abrasive to remove the nettle fibre and can be used for that with other stings.

what was explained to me was the sap has a chemical which stops the sting but cant remember how🙃🤷‍♀️

The act of finding and rubbing the sting is a good distraction too😉

I think it’s mainly the distraction that works. For other things it’s a wet paper towel or magic baby wipe. If it’s really bad a sticking plaster.
