CMPA, acne, eczema

my baby is 7 weeks and has these spots:rash popping up in the side of her face and behind ears and upper chest. I’m not sure if this a symptom of CMPA as she is always gassy, bloated and has mucus when I spoke to the health visitor she said it’s acne and mucus poos for BF babies is normal. Today she seems in pain trying to passed wind and cried every time she popped a fart. I don’t want my baby uncomfortable.

Are you breastfeeding? My youngest DD had CMPA, first pic was her skin at its worst and second pic was 10 days after I cut out dairy from my diet and soya as was breastfeeding. The only reason I did, was because she was very unsettled, had reflux, the spotty rash and also was very unsettled, I spoke to the doctor and as my eldest and husband had also been dairy intolerant he decided it was best to assume she was too, we noticed a difference quite quickly. The doctor also prescribed us a dairy free formula as we were combi feeding. We cut out soya as when referred to a dietician for a telephone appointment she said it has a similar protein, so they advised to cut that out too. Baby acne can be normal though, but do push to see a doctor if you are not happy.
