Tax free childcare - no reference number given

Ive just used the account to pay my provider as usual but the screen that usually comes up with a ref number didn't. It just took me back to the account page (which shows a balance minus what I paid out).
I looked on previous transactions and nothing is showing for today.
Has anyone else had this?

It won’t show for today - it’s a Sunday and it’s not that fast at the weekend!

I don’t know about the screen because mine is set to go out every month so I don’t do the transaction per se, it just does it automatically, but I do know that if I pay money in on a Sunday it doesn’t clear until the Monday.

Thanks. It's now showing in the transactions but school said they need s ref number.

the reference number doesn’t change - it’s the one that links your account to them. Look in the secure messages bit and it should be there.
