I prefer the thicker ones but I'm pretty sure we have discussed this before and you like them thinner .

Little Ewe, Babeco and Harringtons are my fave. Have you thought of trying a bamboo square? If you are good with your folds you might love them - they can lose their fold shape if you don't fold and secure them well enough - but other than that they are fab, absorbant, soft and thin, don't take long to dry either. Babeco do them.

We have some old Harringtons one that my mother had used for my younger brother and they are still going strong, mixed with Little Ewe and John Lewis ones. All are good but the old Harringtons ones were best of all even second hand. Are you sure that the new ones are really the same maker because when I tried to get some more of them about 3 years ago, I was told that they wre no longer made?

Harringtons are making them again - a fairly recent thing so yes, they should be the same as the old ones. You'll be hard pushed to find any atm. Tony's Textiles ebay shop often has them but is out of stock currently. Sometimes they come up for sale on usednappies. Little ewe etc are of a similar quality - you can pick them up at various places - just google little ewe terry squares. You shouldn't pay more than about £2.10 each. They are much thicker than the mothercare ones, if you want a thinner type similar to Mothercare you could try 'Junior Joy' brand.
