DS has been invited to a birthday party. When I asked the mum what would he like as a gift, she said he’s outdoorsy, likes cars and bikes. Any ideas for a good gift to buy? I might resort to a Lego car if I can’t think of anything else, but hopefully someone will have a good suggestion 😀 thanks!!

I suggest going on the Smyths website, choosing a category like "construction and cars", then you can filter by age - probably would pick 9-11 as then it will give you slightly more grown up options, and then filter by price you want to pay. Birthday presents from friends don't have to be the best present ever that perfectly match their interests and what they do and don't have already - as long as it's shown you've thought about it a bit and it's related to something they enjoy and get some fun out of, it'll do.

I'd probably pick something like this: https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/construction-and-cars/car-toys/radio-control-cars/rc-wall-climber-car/p/164494.

Or this: https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/outdoor/garden-games-and-accessories/garden-games/juggling-diabolo-set/p/141839.
