Baby waking up every 10min

My 1 month old is going through a bit of a phase and I’m wondering who else went through something similar and if you might have some advice. During the day and especially getting closer to the evenings, my little girl will scream the house down and will only settle through quite intense rocking/shushing/walking around. She usually falls asleep after a while, looking peaceful but even when we keep her in our arms, her eyes will be wide open within 10min. She then gets overtired. Getting her to sleep is doable but she won’t stay asleep so she then gets overtired. Anyone dealt with that?

Having newborns can be hard can’t it? What happens if you feed her again?

Does she have enough layers on? Is she warm enough?

Have you tried a swaddle in case it’s her startle reflex? I swore by the grosnuggle bags for DS.

@BunnyRuddingtonso hard! Usually by the time I try and put her down she’s already had a full feed and she will push bottle away, scream at the bottle so I know it’s no longer a hunger issue.
@Bitzeewe tried three different swaddles but she absolutely hates being swaddled and will eventually cry when she feels “restricted” in her movements. To be honest her Moro reflex doesn’t seem to bother her all that much and it doesn’t seem to be what wakes up her. It’s just all of a sudden after 10min her eyes just creep wide open and it takes us nearly two hours to finally get a proper sleep from her 😂

Will she go off if obe of tou takes her for a drive or a walk @Vim22?

When DD wouldn’t settle in the evening and wouldn’t feed, we’d make sure her nappy was clean and DH woukd take her for a walk, long enough so that she was in a deep sleep.

She would then sleep in the pushchair till I was ready to go to bed, which wasn’t that late as I was exhausted! Smile
