Is there any real point buying nappies like for example the pastel tots bots when you need to put a wrap over them and you can't see the nice colour?

Or am I missing something?

I suppose in the summer you could skip the wrap if they're outside with no outer clothes on.

I do take your point though. I just found they gave variety which meant I didn't get bored.

Can be good for starting conversations in nappy changing rooms!

So technically it'd be a better idea to spend money on nice wraps?

I'm beginning to get the hang of this, its like a whole parenting secret I feel I've missed!

I'd agree about nice wraps, yes.

Although pastel tots are no dearer than normal (not quite as absorbant though, but that can be better in the day as not so bulky) so you could liven up your nappy collection at no extra expense
