Baby sickness

Hopefully someone can advise!!

little one started nursery 1st week of April at 10.5 months old, and ever since has been projectile vomiting every 2 weeks consistently for a day, sometimes more. We haven’t had a week off this by-weekly situation yet She’s had other things as well such as colds, coughs, ear infections, conjunctivitis, multiple bouts of diarrhoea etc etc.

I expected illnesses when she started 10000%, expected her to be off a lot, was well aware but this much sickness feels extreme?!

has anyone experienced this? I mean in terms of the vomiting mostly?

resllt need advice as feels like this can’t really be that great for her. She loves the nursery but she’s constantly unwell and therefore unhappy. Not the best version off her. I worry this isn’t good for her!!

That amount of I’ll was doesn’t sound great. Is she in a big room with lots of babies? Just wondering if a smaller setting would suit her better?

At 10.5 months, mine had four separate D&V bugs in six weeks, only one of which came from nursery (we'd been away so knew it couldn't be nursery). My and/or partner caught three of them. Ended up going to the GP, various tests, it suddenly cleared up. We only got to the bottom of one bug (rotavirus FFS!). But since mine started nursery, they have had hand foot and mouth, RSV, COVID, noro, colds AND those four tummy bugs.

It was much better in the summer than winter, and it has also improved now LO is walking not crawling - they just have their hands on the floor less often.

Yes a fairly big room with lots of young babies, some younger and some older. Attached to the pre-school. I have other friends who go to the same nursery and same days mostly that aren’t experiencing the same level of sickness. Been to the drs multiple times. Just feels like no end to it and making me really upset!
