DD6 stomachache

DD6 is constantly complaining of belly ache.

The problem is she is absolutely fine.

Still eating normally, drinking fine, no issues with the toilet, sleeping through the night. Settled into school nicely, still swimming, dancing and doing cartwheels and handstands, and no temperature

There is nothing wrong with her - other than complaining about a belly ache around her belly button.

I'm hesitant to make a drs appointment- as there isn't anything wrong with her - but she's still complaining.

What would you do?

I would take her to see the GP, who would have a feel of her tummy. Ideally they would then refer her to a paediatric gastroenterologist if they were unsure. My DD sometimes has tummy pain- think usually caused by constipation. However the paediatric gastroenterologist has had her do a "transit marker" study to check that there is no obstruction inside that she can't see/ feel. Good to check...

Could it be anxiety?

I’d believe her and take her to the doctor.
