3 month old - outdoor activities. Inappropriate or no?

Just want some advice
Me and my DP have booked tickets to an outdoor Halloween cinema screening (PG film so nothing too scary)
its in early October so likely to be cold. Would it be inappropriate to take our 3 month old with us if hes wrapped up?

firstly because of the cold?
secondly - I just thought about if he has a meltdown…

Wrap him up in a sling (just watch air flow) or a pram with layers, and sit somewhere you can make a quick exit if need be.

Is it in a car or sitting outside?

I took my LO to baby cinema pretty frequently and loved the experience. If they get upset, you just feed them or walk around. If your baby is in a sling/carrier, there's a good chance they will just happily sleep. Don't worry about the film certificate , you can take an under 1 to see anything (although by seven months I wasn't taking my LO to 15s any longer because of the violence, just in case they could understand any of the shouting etc). My baby absolutely loved Twisters even though it was loud...

I think they’ll be fine as long as they are dry and warm.

I think it would be fine from a being outdoors perspective. Just wrap him up warm in the pram or inside your coat. You may be underestimating how enjoyable it will be with a baby though. Great if he sleeps and you time it well, but I would park near the edge so you can leave if he gets fussy. My concern would be more just being an annoyance to everyone else and/or disrupting everyone trying to leave.

As long as you’ll enjoy it, do it! There will likely be a number of babies due to siblings so don’t over think it.
