Behaviour after 8 week injections

My 8 week old had his first lot of vaccines on Friday. I gave the recommended doses of paracetamol as advised by the nurse and LO was very sleepy, full of wind and uninterested in his bottle for the rest of the day. Drank over 300ml less than usual.

Since Saturday evening he’s been inconsolable. Crying until he’s purple in the face and completely out of sorts. Its as though if he’s awake he’s unhappy.
Did anyone else have similar experiences and how long did it take to pass?

Our LO didn’t start having a fever till about 24 hours after his vaccines and was out of sorts for 48 hours. Have you checked his temp?

Checked his temperature every few hours and it’s settled to 36/37 degrees since Friday evening. So no temperature since 5 hours after injections

Our GP did tell us that one of the 8 week ones does leave the muscle quite sore so he could just still be in a bit of pain.

My little girl was like this for the next day, but she also had a high temperature. I kept giving her the Calpol to reduce her symptoms and it worked. She was also really off the next day, and grouchy.

I think it took around 3 days or so for my LO to feel himself. He didnt smile or coo until he felt better again. He was much quieter and a bit sad looking. So we just gave him calpol as we knew he must have been feeling quite off.
