Birthmarks

There is lots of random reasons all over the internet for birthmarks and their placement. Do any of your children have birthmarks the same as a relative or do any of your children have a birthmark where you think you know why they got it in that particular place?
There are numerous people born with birthmarks in the shape of countries, hearts etc. I find it fascinating.

All 3 of my daughters have differing birthmarks on different parts of their bodies and none match to me or their dad.

My son has a birthmark the same shape as me but in a different place. I should imagine they’ll be the same size when he’s an adult.

Are you both similar in birth order, like both first?

I've got 3 birthmarks, all small. Nobody else in my family has any. My DC don't have any. They seem random.

I've got one just under my hairline which matches my dad. No one else in the family had it, he was the youngest of his siblings and I'm his eldest child

My youngest has one on his head above his neck that matches my dad's! Both my sons have the same one on their backs.

Sorry I missed this, yes we are

My baby boy has birth marks on his eyelids, which is exactly like me!

I was 3rd baby, and he is my first so no correlation there.

My son had a blue spot on his bum but it faded. Mine never did.. 34 years later still have it.

I also have a little on on my armpit

Pieceofpurplesky · 14/09/2025 18:30

Me and my dad have the same shaped one in almost the same place. DS has one on his eyelid and at the back of his eye (every time he has an eye test they send him for further tests and always conclude it's a birthmark)

My grandmother, mother and daughter all have a mole in the same place on their chests - I'm the odd one out!

Grandmother was the youngest, mother is an only, daughter is my youngest - I'm an eldest...

Yes, my mother, me and my son all have almost exactly the same birthmark on our leg. We are all the firstborn. However, my second child has significantly more birthmarks, which none of the other second children of the other generations have.
