I’ve not had this before.
DD7 is super anxious about starting year 3 (same school but moving to “upper school”)

Shes Literally been panicking and vomiting

Any advice?

She actually loves school normally and was so sad to finish Year 2

If she's vomited you need to wait 48 hours until she goes back rather than assuming it's anxiety based.
Keep your reaction supportive and positive, ask if there's anything specific she's worried about - point out its the same children and the work won't get harder at the start they'll just be recapping things they've already learnt

Reassure her that it’s the same school and that most things are just going to be the same. It can feel like quite a leap from KS1 to KS2 and it’s normally the more practical things that worry children. Like different playgrounds. Talk about the adults that will be the same, if there are any. Look on the website and see if there is any information about what they will be learning about this term. See if you can set up a quick play date if there is time, or even a video call with a friend.
