Hi 👋 all!

We are looking at formula prep machines but unsure which machine is best.

There seems to be 2 main ones

  1. Tommee tippee
  2. Baby brezza

Which one have people used and what was your experience with them? And are they worth it?

They aren’t considered safe as they don’t heat the milk up sufficiently to kill bacteria. They also harbour mould in areas you can’t clean. Save your money!

We had tommee tippee and it was great. Used all the time and no issues at all. We change filter regularly and kept it clean as per the instructions.

We had the Tommee Tippee one too. Was a game changer! Made feeding so much easier and efficient. Just clean it regularly, change the filter when prompted etc. I used it with all 3 of mine and had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Best baby related purchase we made.

Tommee Tippee one was fantastic, easy to clean and prompts you when to change filter etc. I haven’t used baby brezza but did a lot of research and apparently it’s a nightmare to clean and actually ends up being more hassle than it’s worth.

We had a Tommee Tippee, bought in 2019 so the version probably isn't around anymore but it was just the basic one, not nighttime.

It was brilliant, never had any problems. We even took it on holiday with us as couldn't face making up bottles for a week 😂 Make sure you use the official TT filters (not Amazon cheapies) and clean it regularly. We took ours apart when we got rid of it as I wanted to check the hidden mould theory, and there was nothing at all.

We just used the perfect prep day and night. I see there’s a new one, that one seems to do the powder as well. The one I had just dispensed the correct water. Only thing with ones that do the powder is it might be a bit more annoying to clean as the steam from the water side might clog it up!
