BABY SWALLOWED PLASTIC STICKER

Please be kind as I am panicking so much and feel terrible. Been so unwell with the flu/stomach bug so maybe i was not as alert as i usually am. L/O is 10M old. Got hold of a sticker (I've added an image from Google to give an example) and I was holding him and heard him gagging and thought it was because he is still unwell (he also had the same bug and has vomited alot from it). I tried looking in his mouth and all seemed fine then he vomited. Cleaned him up and sat and popped miss rachel on and he seemed OK but I heard gagging again and he is VERY STUBBORN and throws his head back if you check his mouth for food/teething/brushing teeth anything. I saw the sticker on his tongue and he quickly swallowed it whilst my fingers were trying to get it. This was a couple of days ago, I called 111 and they didn't seem concerned. But it isn't paper and I'm scared it won't dissolve and also haven't seen it in any poops. I'm so worried help

It was a smaller sticker but this material. Maybe abit smaller than the star

Pretty sure mine swallowed one of those. All kids swallow something like this at some stage. And In my - very neurotic anxious experience - 111 are super cautious so if they aren't worried you REALLY don't need to be.
With no disrespect, your post sounds very like my head - do you struggle with anxiety and if so, could I gently suggest support? I didn't sort anything for me and I nearly broke, postnatal anxiety took me down hard.
He will be okay. They are much less breakable the you think x

It will probably just come out the other end.
My daughter ate all sorts when she was a baby including a dead spider, a crayon.

It will pass through fine, it can’t hurt him inside as not sharp enough and it’s not big enough to cause any kind of blockage. It will probably roll into a little tube and come out in his nappy tomorrow!

Dd swallowed a plastic toy. 111 sent us to hospital. Hospital didn’t even x ray her. Said to just come back if she started vomiting or tummy went swollen. Basically signs of a blockage. I rooted through her poo for a week. Never found it.

I don’t think it’s problem, it was a few days ago, it’s not a solid object. It won’t still be shiny even if you’re looking closely at the poo, It also wouldn’t show on X-ray. I mean this sincerely please stop worrying about it.

@Crazybrainlady I do think i am naturally a little anxious anyway but it has amplified with my babies. I try not to show it as my family are pretty nonchalant and chill but inside my mind is consumed with worry that I've hurt them or not been alert and they've done something or eaten something I missed. So on the off chance it actually happens it drives me crazy

It'll surely just come out the other end. If the stomach bug resolves in a normal timeframe and no other symptoms I'd not worry.

Mine ate all sorts of stuff… definitely ate some stickers too! You’re doing great. One of mine ate part of a leaflet once. Oh and several leaves. Dead insects… Duck food pellets…

Thank you for the reassurance everyone. I managed to get some sleep last night because of your responses as the two nights after it happened I just kept waking up and watching him sleep incase he was unwell from it x
