I'm using a range of reusables on ds (hand me downs from dd1 and 2, from friends, etc) which include some well used terry squares. I've noticed that his willy sometimes looks quite red and I wondered if these old, quite hard terry squares are causing some discomfort.

Do you think this is likely? (Or is this just me showing my lack of willy know how after having two daughters?).

maybe you could cut up an old fleece throw and make a few fleece liners so that only soft material touches his willy to see if it makes a difference?

good thinking - will give it a go.

remeber as soon as they get wet with wee they will be soft again- i wouldn't worry too much. Give them a really good shake when you hang them up, it is nearly as good as tumble drying, especially for terry squares
