Best play dough kits for 3 year olds?

Any recommendations for the best play dough kits for 3 year olds? Which ones have kept your kids occupied for longest and don’t require too much parent intervention. I’m looking for some ideas to keep my 3 year old occupied at home when her sibling arrives.

Other toy suggestions welcome too. We have lots of building toys (duplo, magnet tiles) and play food already.

I wouldn’t really bother with a ‘kit’. Several tubs of the original play dough and then a few cutters and plastic knives will do. A little rolling pin. At school the kids just like to poke things like buttons and lolly pop sticks in it.

Agree with PP make your own kit
Make your own dough ( look for the cream of tartare recipe salt dough that you cook) keeps in the fridge in a plastic bag
silicone cup cake cases
paper plates plastic cutlery and scissors
Plastic cutters shapes letters numbers etc
Playdough mats laminated (free online)
Magnadoodle type drawing board
Large beads to thread ( sellotape on the end of the lace aids threading)
Large peg board and pegs
Lots of new books/ activity books and new crayons
New baby books, new baby doll
Look on Rex London and The Works for inexpensive activities and books.
