Anything out there that might help??

My 3 month old likes to be rocked for his nap. I didn't want to start any habits like this but I also know babies need assistance. The quickest way he naps is by being put in a blanket, closing the top of it so he cant see anyone, and swung side to side by two people for a few mins. Most of the time I'm alone and with a collapsed lung currently , I can't do it on my own. Is there anything out there ( that isnt super expensive) that would do the same thing? Ive tried an electric swing, a rockit on a pram and a hammock Rocker but it wakes him up more. I've tried looking for a swing I could screw into the walls so its handsfree but Im at a loss and cant find anything. He goes to sleep okay at night so its just for his naps. Thankyou from a tired mama.

I hope the image you have put in my head doesn’t match the reality.

@ohbee I assume you mean the blanket part? It truly isnt. He has enough air 😂 i just close it together slightly at one end so he cant see my face.

Your DH takes annual leave until you're better?

LOL re the swinging, I do remember briefly considering this once so DH and I could share the weight 😅

My baby also loved being rocked to sleep but only in my arms or DH's. I threw my back out and DS didn't nap for a WHOLE DAY. And was then a terror all night. DH took annual leave, not just to help settle the baby, but to help me out too.

It’s ok, I didn’t give you any advice.
