My 16 month old has been delayed with her gross motor skills, she didnt start crawling til she was 14 month old and it took her a while to be able to roll both ways. Shes 16 months old now and shes still not walking, will only stand up if shes holding onto something and she will cruise on furniture but shes very wobbly still. HV came today and shes said she is referring her to physio and advised me to make a GP appointment to get her legs/hips checked.. Has anyone else had this experience? This is a new HV as I have moved area, my last HV checked my daughters legs etc and said she couldnt feel anything concerning a few months ago. I just cant help but worry🥺

I think you should focus on the fact that getting some help is a good thing. Babies develop at their own pace but there is nothing wrong with some physio and getting checked out.

We did some physio on the NHS with my son when he was first born (different issues to yours) and the physio was incredibly nice and professional and experienced. She took one look at my son and identified the problem instantly. I was very impressed.
