Should I buy VTech walker

Thinking of buying my one year old twins a VTech walker. They were premature and have just started crawling. I got given a wooden walker but I just love the look of the VTech ones and they have lots of VTech toys. Would it be a good buy or a waste of money?

There will be loads around second hand. My kids never really walked witht them much.

My DS really didn't use his walker. It just frustrated him!

My son used his loads. Even took it abroad with us, he loved it.

Oh god, this has given me flashbacks of the tune it plays: “Hello Puppy Calling Do You Want to Play With Me?”

Unlike PP my DCs did use to it walk with, as I recall it worked well on a rug (not so much on a smooth floor). But the tune will drive you MAD.

My girl never walked with hers.
She just like to sit next to it and press the noisy and flashy buttons.
We did have the wooden type that you fill with bricks or other toys and at a playgroup she enjoyed one of those old fashioned stuffed dogs that you can push around.
A plastic shopping trolley got a lot of use too. They tend to be lightweight so not great for learning to walk but if you can get a more heavy wooden one that could be good.

I got a second hand one from Vinted! Love VTech stuff and it’s nice and colourful :)
@minipie i seem to constantly have songs from the girls toys stuck in my head haha!

yes my dd is almost 18 now and yes I was also reminded of that tune when I saw this thread lol. I wonder if the modern versions still play the same tune?
