Never heard of an app being useful but the teachmetotalk website is good and there's a cartoon called Steve & Maggie on youtube that was designed to teach non English speaking kids English which we found really useful for DS's speech & language delay - but I suppose it might depend on why your DS needs speech therapy, e.g. apraxia as far as i know needs professional input.

Do you know Miss Rachel on YouTube? Have fun needed speech therapy and she set up that channel to teach children to talk.

My son has a speech delay and is under SALT but any time I put Miss Rachael on he shouts "no!" and wants it turned off. 😂
