Travelling with 2 small kids

I know this is some people’s worst nightmare, but we are up for it- we have travelled to Thailand, Dubai, Indonesia and Malaysia with our firstborn (for 6 week stretches) so pretty aware of issues of travelling with a baby (though I’m aware it’s going to be doubly hard with 2!).

DH has a couple months of paternity leave and we are thinking about a 5 week trip somewhere with our two little ones in January.

This time wouldn’t plan on loads of travelling while there- more staying in nice accommodation and taking it slow (ie we both try and do some exercise during the day, have some pool time with the kids and try and do some lunches/ dinners and light exploring around nap times). We wouldn’t mind moving locations a few times , ie a week in each place but the idea is ‘recharge, get fit and go slow’ after a pretty tough year so far.

anyone done similar or have suggestions of where might fit the bill?

currently considering Malaysia, Thailand

If you're already considering long distances, January is nice and hot in Argentina and Chile (very modern and baby friendly) and the weather in the Carribean is absolutely fantastic (although January is high season in all the above and is extremely pricey).
