So, Flameboy wants to potty train... poo EVERYWHERE

I had bad stomach pains so took some co-dydramol and curled up in bed leaving DH in charge.

He called me to come help....

It seems DS decided he needed a poo, so he removed his nappy and went up to the toilet. Unfortunately he wasn't quick enough so he went on the stairs, the bathroom floor, smeared over the toilet seat as he tried to get on, over his clothes....

Oddly enough, even having cleaned up poo in a drug induced haze, I am very proud of him.

He tried

He was trying to clean it up as he was calling for Daddy to help

Oh god...

I gave BabyDragon a go last weekend. She was so keen, understood about knickers and potty but was utterly clueless to the point where she couldn't even tell me she'd weed everywhere... DS1 had to tell me she'd weed on his foot.

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 18:46

Why can't they wake up one day clean and dry???

At least the chick would use a potty, so we had a chance of catching it in every room.

But noooooooooooooo the dude is a Big Boy who will scweam until he's sick rather than use a potty.

(You been enjoying rl or just on very different threads to me? I keep seeing Soupkitchen and she confuses me)

I have no internet connection at the moment but a nice ignorant kind neighbour has an unsecured wireless network and I have a shiney new PC with a wireless card...

I suspect BabyDragon will be following in her weaning footsteps with potty training [sob]

Tis lovely when you have neighbours like that.

Mine are all intelligent mean and have theirs secured. I particularly like the one called "My f*ckin wireless"... I think he may have had trouble setting it up

Praying BabyDragon becomes one of those children I have been glaring menacingly at!! I had it easy with weaning so will be gracious about it.

oh noooooooooo

would he entertain one of those potty seat thingys?

bless him trying to clean it up though!

as you can tell i have no advice other than to say - if middlemonster can learn to poo then so can flameboy

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 22:46

Nope, if it ain't plumbed in, then he ain't usin it

Yay for middle monster getting sorted though!

Clearly you need to install one of those weeny kiddy sized toilets in every room. They'd be a talking point at any rate!

I think BabyDragon knows exactly what to do but is choosing not to. Just like in every other aspect of her life. I think that when she decides she's ready it'll be done and dusted in about 2 minutes [deluded] [hopeful] [weep]

SoupDragon · 30/05/2008 22:58

Clearly this neighbour isn't technically minded as this connection is simply called by the name of the router which I'm guessing is the default setting

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 22:59

Can you imagine what would be flushed down the things? The landlord would be very too - they take photos each inspection to prove the toilet is still in place (something about a tenant who removed all the bathroom fittings once) - bonus toilets would throw em completely

I suggest you don't take him to a bath showroom...

Apparently my eldest brother had a small, er, mishap in one when much much younger

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 23:01

pmsl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

similarly B&Q ds2 had an 'incident' there I didn't want to tell him to stop, he was pooing BY HIMSELF with NO screaming!

Psychomum5 · 30/05/2008 23:57

lol.

sorry, but lol.

and awwww at him trying to do it alone!!!!

Flamesparrow · 31/05/2008 10:14

Ah yes, but like the weaning & Soupy, I will allow that as I know I have had it easy with what mine eat.

NappiesGalore · 31/05/2008 12:24

hehe

lol.
yeah, and the best 'teachers' in the world; other little boys using the toilet independently (mostly)

SoupDragon · 31/05/2008 19:33

Watching DSs probably isn't the best way to train BabyDragon...!

Phoenix · 31/05/2008 20:07

Awww bless him for trying to clean it up.
