help me - my arms are falling off

can anyone offer advice on how to get my 8 week old daughter to take daytime naps in her basket rather than in my arms/lying on my chest? she used to sleep in her basket during the day for short periods but in the last three weeks she refuses point blank to do it. am worried that all the holding from myself and her family has ruined her. Or am I expecting too much from her at such a young age? Is it too early to train her? Thankfully, she does spend most of the night sleeping in her basket, but I never get a break during the day unless I take her out.

You're in the wrong forum, but I'd say try something that rocks, like a cradle, hammock, or car seat.

Try putting your top that you've been wearing to cradle her in her basket with her.

LOL, I was intruged at how potty training was making your arms fall off!!!!!!!!!

And then did a double take when I read that she was 8 weeks!

LOL, you might be better moving this to sleep section!

lol made me wonder too - i actually though ooo she must have faulty nappies and the 'arms' of the nappy are detaching lol!

Get a sling and that way she'll sleep while you get on with what you want to do.
