Should I be worried?
She would clap if we said “clapping” to her but wouldn’t do out of her own accord.
but now she’s stopped but has started learning to wave…and not interested in clapping even when we say “clapping”. Is this normal?

Yes perfectly normal as they develop.

Yes it's the novelty and not the loss of a skill. She's now learning to wave. So wave she shall!
Keep on practising the "clapping" alongside the waving and soon she'll be clapping waving and pointing! X

My son is almost 13 months and very similar. I thought he was losing skills but I think his focus would just shift to something new. I've learned to keep reminding him of skills he's mastered and mirror them back to him all the time. Clapping has come back with a bang after waving, high fives and shaking hands were the stars of the show for a while😂
