FTM my poor baby boy is suffering with a sickness bug. In scared his going to choke in the night so have positioned him on his tummy.

it’s his favourite position to sleep in, in the day for naps downstairs he can. However I’ve never let him go over night yet.

all ok?

I think at that age sleeping on his tummy is more of a danger if he is being sick. Once they can roll independently then tummy sleeping can be slightly safer (though not advised by Lullaby Trust etc.)

If you are concerned about him being sick, you need to sit with him so you can keep an eye on him. Is he in a crib/cot etc in your room still so you can listen out for him when you go to bed? Unless you are a very deep sleeper, you will hear him if he is sick.

At 3 months old I would take baby to the GP. If it was your second child and you had a germy toddler around then it would make more sense but I'd say I sickness bug at 3 months is pretty unusual. Have you had it?

I did take him to the GP yesterday and to be honest was not impressed she did not even take his temperature. just said he has a tummy bug. We are all well at home but last Friday was with a child who I’ve now found was poorly on the Thursday.

his bowl movements have slowed down now and his keeping down his food just really unsettled 😢

Ok, less concerning if you know the source of the illness!

Hope it clears up soon, I find babies bounce back quickly to be honest!
