School trousers for round tummies?

My 6-year-old DD needs trousers for school (refuses skirts/dresses/culottes and has been very happy in ‘boys’ school shorts last term). I’ve found her difficult to buy trousers for in the past as she has a larger waist (and sadly not the long legs to make sizing up easier!). Can anyone recommend a good brand for elasticated waist school trousers? Joggers/leggings aren’t allowed at her school.

I think all supermarkets offer elasticated waists nowadays. We used Tu last year from Sainsbury's - they washed well and held up
great!

Next. They do different waist sizes and are also adjustable

You could get the waist size you need and just take the leg length up?
