Should I keep going without stabilisers?

Day 3 with no stabilisers today and my 4 year old managed 5 or 6 seconds pedalling on his own before stopping! (Started off holding back of seat running next to him then let go). Is this a sign he can do it? And we just need to keep practicing? Has since done a few seconds at a time again, but he keeps putting his feet down when we let go!

Don't hold his seat. You're destabilising him when you let go. Wrap a towel under his arms like a sling so that he balances the bike but you support if he wobbles.

Yep do the towel method. You can Google it for pictures if it's not clear from the post above.
