Is my baby teething?

My 11 week old has been showing signs of teething
from pull his ear and scratching his face, constant drooling to the point if you’re holding him the drool hits the floor. He has been crying all day long and this has been on and off since 6 weeks but has gotten worse the past few days.

I have taken some photos, I am a first time mum and I don’t know even know what to look for his gums are hard and it feels like you can feel like bumps it’s not a smooth surface.

it’s been hard trying to calm him down, we can only give him calpol due to his age but obviously you can’t keep giving him that everytime his pain is increased 😭

Professor Winston filmed a teething baby, it is painful, poor baby! Are you using any teething powders/gels on his gums? The bumps are his teeth ready to break through.

He is only 11 weeks old, pharmacies say I can’t use anything for him and I shouldn’t even be using calpol if he hasn’t got a temperature 😩 he is only 1 weeks old off being 3 months I think I will have to get something it’s so unfair

Very likely - my two both got their first teeth a 6 weeks old.

Calpol can be used from 2 months old.

Some babies sail through it, others have a really rough ride. With all my DCs I had a selection of chewy toys that rotated in and out of the freezer, I used “teetha” granules which did seem to help, and with one of mine I used a now wildly frowned upon amber necklace (I was absolutely desperate). Hopefully your baby’s teeth will all pop out relatively quickly and easily. Best of luck OP 🤞

I see the Ashtons is six months - but the Teetha is three months. Let us now how he gets on and if it helps :) Teetha Baby Teething Granules (40 Sachets) 3+ Months, Homeopathic Relief For Soothing & Calming Teething Symptoms, Baby Teething Ready-Dosed Sachets : Amazon.co.uk: Baby Products
