Colic - if DC1 had it did DC 2 have it also?

Just a random thought, my DD had colic, along with CMPA and reflux, does that mean my second child will also have colic or is it a random thing?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My first had it.

Neither second nor third did.

Completely different experiences, obviously for the better

My first did but the other 2 didn’t.

My first had it but the rest didn't.

My first had it terribly, colic and reflux. Second had no colic, but a bit of silent reflux, but nowhere near as severe. I also recognised the early signs so pushed for a Gaviscon prescription much sooner.

I also had colic as a baby, as did my youngest brother, but not the middle one. So in my small sample size, it seems that second borns are the least affected.

Ds did but not DD's. Made me realise how hard it is having a baby with it when dc2 and dc3 didn't have it.

One had it. None of the others did.
