Hello,

Ive had spots like this come and go over the last month with my 2 year old. They aren’t itchy or bothering her. Seem to just appear in her stomach/back areas.

we have done flea checks/bug checks and we are really at a loss now and what this could be.

any ideas?

Is it worth keeping a food diary and tracking when they appear? Is it after an activity like swimming?? After wearing a certain top?? It could be an allergy/reaction perhaps?

Thanks for replying! Yeah I’ve done the food but there doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to it!

no everything has been the same, I thought maybe a moisturiser but stopped using it for a few weeks and they still appear.

Are they like little blisters that eventually burst? If so they could be Molluscum. My DC had them for about a year, GP said no treatment needed, they are contagious but generally only to other children (not adults) and only when the spots burst. Could be worth asking the GP to take a look to confirm.

No definitely not this! Doesn’t look like it. I’ve figured it was folliculitis. I took the bath mat away and it has gone away!

Allergies can take several days from consuming something to a skin reaction. So if you've done a food diary you need to go back over 4-5 days each time they appear.

Glad you’ve figured it out OP!
