Gift for Grandparents

Hi everyone,

My parents have very kindly minded my little girl for the last 6 months until I could get her a nursery place. I’ve tried to pay them but of course, they won’t accept anything. I’ve already bought them a holiday, airline voucher, hotel stay and concert tickets over the last couple of months as a thank you but I’d like to get them one last gift as they finish minding her. I’m absolutely stumped as to what to get them. Has anyone received a lovely gift/ given a lovely gift that they could suggest to me! I’d really appreciate any advice!

It sounds to me like you've already been more than generous.

I'm Grandparent age, and, if I were healthy enough to be able to help one of my dc out in such a way, I wouldn't have wanted all that.
Seriously, I'd much prefer a calendar with photos of the little one or something similar.

How about a year's membership to something like the National Trust or Museum's Association? Or a local gym, or similar?

I agree what what CarpetKnees said, a fully booked holiday sounds amazing and entirely enough, but you can make a smaller gift like a printed and framed photo collage with pictures of your DD (here is how you make one) or, as they suggested, a baby photo calendar (you can create one yourself as well, here is how you do that). I think that would be both nice and appropriate, since you've already planned a lot!
