Suddenly Colic/Trapped Wind in 4 month old

I’m wondering if anyone else experienced this with their 4 month old? I’m exclusively BFing my DD and on three random evenings she’s had attacks of trapped wind or colic. She’s inconsolable during these attacks and we try the usual methods to ease it and given her Infacol, but it doesn’t seem to work. That said, it usually lasts only an hour and then she’s exhausted and sleeps. I thought colic symptoms were different. We had her checked the first time as it was very out of character for her and colic was suggested. I’ve also tried to think if I did anything different on those days, which I didn’t. Is this just a normal phase for a 4 month old? Other than this she’s her normal healthy self and putting on weight.

Ds was probably about 10 weeks when this started happening. I wasnt Bf but I did 2 things. Swapped bottle types and took ds to a cranial osteopath. After each session he would be so relaxed and be able to feed more than 1oz at a time. We had 5 sessions and that was all he needed. He slept better too and was less tense.
Obvs not the same thing for everyone but ds was prem and a v quick traumatic birth, which can cause these types of issues apparently.

Try gripe water for trapped wind - I think they can have it from 3 months. I wish I took out shares in the stuff.

@catsnore and @Yellowcakestand many thanks for your suggestions. It’s so difficult not being able to console her when she’s going through it.
