1 TOG Sleeping Bag

Hello all, just wondering if anyone uses a 1 TOG bag year round and if so what do you dress a toddler in when it’s around 18/19 in the room. My 22 month old has definitely outgrown his 6-18 month 2.5 TOG Grobag but I have a 1 TOG here in a bigger size. Given we’ve only 2/3 weeks left in winter here (New Zealand) I am not sure I want to invest in another 2.5 TOG bag. Especially since he’ll likely be in a bed soon anyway. I was thinking a long sleeve bodysuit, under a footed sleepsuit then the bag and maybe a lightweight wool blanket over his legs. Or maybe I should ditch the bags and get a cot blanket although I guess it’s easier for him to climb out with a blanket.

I've always used this infographic. So for 18-19c, id just do a short sleeved vest, sleepsuit and then sleepsack. Never had any issues.

The grobag chart should give you some indication. Here in the UK, 18/19c IS our summer! Mine would have probably been in a 1 tog grobag with a sleep suit or a long sleeve babygro depending on the weather.
