Child crying with tummy pain?

A2010 · 01/08/2025 19:51

This started Tuesday evening for a couple of hours. She was really tired and lethargic after nursery and complained of stomach pain. She was also gagging every so often which was weird? After a couple of hours she snapped out of it and was back to normal. She was fine Wednesday and Thursday.

Picked her up from nursery today and she’s extremely lethargic and tired and so much worse than she was Tuesday. Constant crying, complaining of pain in her tummy, she’s been asleep since 5.30.

Does anyone have any ideas? She has no temperature

id get her checked out. How has she been with eating/pooing? Has she eaten anything on those days that could be causing a reaction?

With my kids I always go to
have they done a poo recently with intermittent tummy pain. Usually no other symptoms Then if it settles with pain relief I keep an eye. If it continues I’d get some medical advice if it’s not resolving

When we sought medical help due to similar with my son we were told that when under the weather children suffer from swollen lymph nodes in their abdomen and this causes them to feel pain.

She did say she wanted a poo earlier, went to the toilet but said it wouldn’t come out!
