Baby rash

My 10 month old has developed a fever for a few days and has these little red spots/rash all over body. I’ve been doctors and they have said its part of a virus he has caught, but I am not convinced anyone have any suggestions what it could be?

My daughter has rash like this before and it was viral infection and went within 48 hours. Get a glass cup and roll over the rash and if rash goes while being pressed down it’s most likely viral? If the rash stays then contact 111. Also have a look on NHS website for advice. Hope he gets better soon x
