Glucose in urine

My son has autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia. He has never been dry at night and is 9. I had got him an appointment with enuresis and they did an ultrasound and kept hovering over his kidney....waiting for the next appointment for the report. Anyway I got a bit worried and we are doing a diary for the eneurisis clinic and i did a dipstick test on his urine and every one I've done shows +100 glucose.....does anyone know what that might indicate? Or is that an acceptable level?

Glucose in the urine can indicate diabetes. Its really important to get him checked to rule this out with a fingerprint blood test, as it can become serious if left untreated. I'd call for an out of hours appointment tonight. The other signs of diabetes are increast thirst, going to the toilet a lot for wees and weight loss, does he have any of those?

Hopefully it's not that, but it's worth ruling it out quickly just incase. Hope all goes well x

So I did wonder this but don't know how high is high m. He definitely hasn't lost weight. He does drink a fair bit. He is being seen by the enuresis clinic next week. Where they will test his iron themselves. But not sure really.
