DS is 3.7 and has been toilet trained for about 3 months now (with a few accidents at the beginning). Since Saturday he has shat his pants 3 times and seems to think it's a mixture of embarrassing and funny. Anyone else had this, and what do I do????

Currently having this now (ds2 is 4). No solutions - will be haunting this thread for tips!

Most of the boys I know went through a phase of this. After a small amount of tolerant kind understanding I explained firmly that it was not acceptable. I probably connected it with no tv or a present if seven days completed. Nothing heavy, just a little thing to back up what they already know.

Hmm, well I have been telling him that 'big boys don't do that' and that it's 'yucky'...

my dd done this for a while and my health visitor said when she does it dont say anything, just get up clean them up put new pants on and let them get on with what they were doing, she started doing after ds was born and was doing for attention or a reaction from me, and it worked after about 3 days when she realised she wasnt getting any attention she stopped
