Cut my babies finger while cutting his nails extremely worried about him now

If you can't stop the bleeding, you need to go to A&E now. Otherwise don't worry too much.

How old is your baby and how much is it bleeding?

Also FYI my friend did this on the morning of her baby's christening 😅 happens all the time.

My DS is 11 months and cutting his nails is one of the things I hate most 😂 I'd rather change 5 pooey nappies

He only cried a small bit and I stopped the bleeding straight away and run it under cold water

He is nearly 3 months old

Nothing to worry about. It was a small cut and it's stopped bleeding and been washed now. It happens.

In future just bite them with your own teeth. Have a little nibble. Far safer for a baby

My DH cut our eldest’s finger at about that age and has never trimmed either child’s nails since which is very annoying when it’s such a tricky job! Babies heal incredibly quickly so you probably won’t even be able to see the cut soon. I know it’s hard, but try not to get in your head about it.
