(In the shower)
just that - what’s the reason?! Tired? PTSD? Hormones?

Evolution probably. Keep you checking on your baby. Don’t go to far.

It’s not hormones because I had this when I got a puppy!

I had this for about 2 years! 😩

It's a sound you spend so much focusing on and waiting to hear it, that your brain is hyper focused. Same thing happened to my DH in Iraq, said he ended up waking up all the time hearing things that hadn't happened but was on edge would happen at any moment. He also likened the newborn sleep deprivation with being at war 😂

No idea - but in my experience it’s not just something that happens when you’ve got babies/toddlers.
My kids are 10, 8 & 5, and still everytime I get in the shower I swear I can hear one of them crying 🫠🫠🫣😂
