My daughter is almost two months old she was combination fed but now my milk supply has gone I am pumping but only Get Enough for her to have one bottle of my milk a day the rest of the time she is Formula fed she was on cow and gate but gets a lot of spit up so I mean the process of changing to kendmil we are on day two of slow change. Most information I have found is based on five bottles but she has more like 10 bottles a day including two at night. Is it normal for her to have so many bottles most of the time she doesn't want 120ml will drink between 60 and 90 taking around 20 minutes to drink and 15 minutes burping gun sitting up it's a real strain and I'm not able to get anything done around the home I even try to shower today and had to get out so fast so she could feed again any advice?

If she having smaller amounts but more frequently isn’t a problem, she may only tolerate a smaller amount in her belly - look up pace feeding if you haven’t already.
the amount she takes at once will change as she get older but I get that it’s inconvenient for doing anything but feeding.

remember the amount on the formula tin is a ‘guide per feed not what they have to take every time as each baby will be different and we need to get out of the ‘need to finish the bottle’ mentality and go with hunger and fullness cues, which it sounds like you are doing.

how is she feeding, does the size of the teat need to be changed to allow her to get more out?
at eight weeks she will she may still be in her 6-8 week growth spurt so may be hungry more.

I would monitor her weight, chat to your health visitor about feeding and go along to your local breastfeeding/infant feeding group as I’m sure you will find other parents who have experienced the same thing.

Has she been checked for Tongue Tie and does she have any of the symptoms in the link?

I didn't realise you are meant to slowly change formula, I just went from one brand to the next once I'd ran out!

My baby seems to burp quicker if I hold him upright and stroke his back gently from bottom to top. Patting or slightly leaning forward doesn't seem to work.

That would be good because im almost out of cow and gate got maybe 1 days worth left and was thinking i need to buy a 600g tin to only use half of it
