Demanding 5 year old

Any tips on managing 5.5 year old who is so extremely demanding. Has anyone adopted an approach that has worked? Along with being demanding and rude, she will never do anything herself. For example she will say "Where's my water" and will refuse to get her water bottle herself, her little sister will end up getting it for her. When I am talking to someone when we are out she will continuously shout my name over and over trying to divert my attention away from who I am speaking to. Any tips greatly needed as it is really testing my patience

What do you mean by demanding? Can you give some examples?

What happens if you don’t comply with getting her water, or stopping your conversation for example?

And finally, how is she more generally? How has she found the transition to school?

My 5 year old DS is like this. I know exactly what you mean.
He’s a very bright, outgoing kid. But he’s just in-your-face…
