My DD has never been great at sleeping. She never slept through the night until 13 months. After which we had brief periods of semi-decent nights.
She's currently 3years nearly 5 months and is wakening anywhere between 2-6 times per night.
Sometimes it's for the toilet or she'll say she's had a bad dream.
Other times she will call out for me and say she wants me. If dad gets up she will kick off.
The thing is it's full of demands - occasionally she'll go back to bed no hassle. The other times she'll ask for the toilet, then refuses to do it. Or wants me to tuck her in. Then she gets back up & this happens over and over again. She'll often throw herself down and say her legs aren't working so she can't walk or get back into bed.
The list of demands is never ending but there's always an issue meeting them, even with me doing exactly as she asks.
If I refuse to go back in she will scream for ages without end & bang on her bedroom door.
We've tried white noise, tonies box etc. Or letting her pick an extra teddy.
Did anyone experience this with their DC? Or can anyone offer an alternative suggestion...
