Hiya,
My daughter has just finished primary. It hasn’t been too bad few niggles with one girl (who we also live by so they have to get on with it) we were hoping there would be a bit of separation at secondary but they have all been put in together - she was okay with this even though I offered to move her. Is it normal for girls to be so up and down? She messages her friends that she is moving with and they don’t respond but then they are all on the group chats. She hasn’t questioned it but my heart hurts for her if they aren’t keen on her (although would never guess it when altogether at disco Friday). I don’t want to get involved but don’t understand the ignoring/leaving her out. I am hopeful she will make new friends but am scared that these existing friends may create issues - do I just not look at her phone. Keep quiet and trust her to come to me?

You absolutely should monitor her phone- that is basic parenting.
