Greasy hair immediately after washing

Hi,

DD is five, suffering with eczema. Her scalp appears to have no issues, but every shampoo tried, leaves her with immediately greasy hair, it clumps together. Tried washing her hair twice, with and without minimal conditioner.

Any recommendations. Thanks.

Shampoo bars are much better.

Difficult to get enough lather in a hard water area.

It is actually me who suffers from this as well. In my case I have Seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp which causes the greasyness. I use the smol shampoo bar and it is so far the only thing I can use for clean grease free hair. Good luck hunting for your fit!

What shampoo do you use? How often are you washing her hair?

Have you tried African black soap? It’s very good for eczema, but also for greasy hair. I’ll see if a link works, but you can pick it up from any local black hair store (avoid Paks, too much controversy about treating women customers badly), and it’ll be in the range of £1-3.
