Working and the summer holidays

It’s that time of year when I start feeling immensely guilty and sad again about missing out on my kids throughout the holidays. I love my job but I do find this part hard. I have a day each week booked off and luckily my husband is self employed and can stay home with them but I still feel guilty every year. I’m sure I’m not alone. Anyone else work full time (I do 9-5) and do you have much annual leave booked?

I work longer shifts than that and I have one week holiday one week parental leave, it’s rubbish but it was it is. Gotta pay them bills

luckily DH is a teacher so DS has somebody there throughout at least

Its rubbish, but what can you do 🤷🏼‍♀️ the guilt is real though for sure
