Hi everyone,

I have an interview for a PGCE next week and they have asked me to take with me an academic or employers reference. Since i would be amature student if i got accepted i couldn't get an academinc reference so it would have to be an employers reference.

However, i do not want work to know about my aplication cos if i don't get accepted i do not want them to think i am not serious about my job and am just passing the time etc until i get something else sorted etc

Help!! How can i get around this??

Could you phone the people doing the interview and ask whether it is really required at this stage? I'm sure they'd understand since you're a mature candidate.
